The Rappahannock Model Railroad Club is a D.C.S. operator and demonstrator, presently one of only fifteen clubs in the United States. To find out more about this visit MTH here. “What is D.C.S.?” one might ask. Digital Command System, or D.C.S., is an excellent way to operate your model trains. Mike’s Train House came up with the concept of the system using only a few pieces of equipment for command control operation. It is simple and easy to use. D.C.S. can operate up to thirty Protosound2 locomotives at once, something that has not been done in previous years. The system can also operate Lionel Train Master Command Control Equipped locomotives, along with conventional locomotives, varying the voltage with the remote. If you would like to see a demonstration of D.C.S., come to our club on one of the monthly business meetings or train shows.
